Cost for New Zealand citizen/resident
Free abortion services to any pregnant person eligible for publicly funded healthcare in New Zealand and lives in the Te Whatu Ora Nelson Marlborough district. There may be prescription fees and costs for ultrasound.

Accessibility
There is level access to the clinic from the carpark outside. Wheelchair access is through the main entrance to the clinic. The clinic is on the ground floor of the building. The clinic has a wheelchair-accessible toilet.
If you have accessibility needs, please let the clinic know ahead of your appointment.
There are two mobility parking spaces in the carpark directly outside the building. A limited number of carparks are available in the clinic carpark. Public parking is available at the nearby Countdown Supermarket.
There is a bus stop outside Countdown Supermarket on Seymour Street.

Contraception

- Contraception prescriptions.
- IUD or IUS devices can be inserted when you have a surgical abortion.
- A Depo Provera injection can be given at the same time as the first medication if you are having an early medical abortion.
Counselling
Free abortion decision, pre abortion and post abortion counselling is available, if required, through the Social Work Service at Wairau Hospital. Counselling can be provided in person or virtually.
