Cost for New Zealand citizen/resident
Free abortion services to any pregnant person eligible for publicly funded healthcare in New Zealand living in the Te Whatu Ora Te Tai Tokerau district. There may be prescription fees and costs for ultrasound.
Cost for non-New Zealand resident
- Early surgical abortion from NZ$2,032
- Later medical abortion from NZ$2,032

Accessibility
The clinic is on the ground floor of the building.
There is a wheelchair accessible toilet.
If you have accessibility needs, please let the clinic know ahead of your appointment.
Mobility parking and public parking are available at the front of the hospital.
There is a bus stop at the front of the hospital.
Assistance or funding for transport to the service is available, if required.
Translation services
Translation services are available. Please let the clinic know that you'll need translation support.
Female practitioner
There is a female nurse at this clinic but all clients are seen by a doctor (usually male).
Contraception
Contraception available through this clinic.
- Contraception prescriptions.
- IUD or IUS devices can be inserted when you have a surgical abortion.
Counselling
Abortion decision counselling and pre and post-abortion counselling are required. Counselling is provided in person and can be provided virtually.
