Cost for New Zealand citizen/resident
Free abortion services (and free contraception after abortion) for New Zealand citizens/residents who are:
- under 22 years of age, or
- Community Services Card holders
For other New Zealand citizens/residents, abortion services cost:
- from NZ$400 per visit.
An ultrasound dating scan is free of charge.
Cost for non-New Zealand resident
- Early medical abortion from NZ$600.

Accessibility
This clinic is on the ground floor of the building, but there are five steps up to the front door of the clinic. Free public parking is available on the main street in front of the clinic.
Mobility parking is available around the back of the clinic, with a wheelchair accessible back entrance.
Public transport. A bus stop is located a few streets over on Vanguard Street.
There is a wheelchair accessible toilet.
If you have accessibility needs, please let the clinic know ahead of your appointment.
Female practitioner
A female practitioner is available at the clinic.
Contraception
Contraception available through this clinic.
- Contraception prescriptions.
- IUD or IUS devices can be inserted after an early medical abortion.
- Depo provera and contraceptive implants can be provided at the same time as the early medical abortion medications.
Counselling
We provide virtual and in-person counselling to help you decide whether an abortion is right for you – and before and after an abortion. There is a charge for counselling services for non-New Zealand residents.
