What will it cost?*
Cost for New Zealand citizen/resident
Abortion services are free for any pregnant person eligible for publicly funded healthcare in New Zealand. There may be prescription fees and costs for ultrasound.
IUDs and contraceptive implants are free for anyone under 25 years, or up to any age if you're Māori, Pacific Islander or have a Community Services Card. Otherwise, they will cost $230.
Cost for non-New Zealand resident
An abortion for non-New Zealand residents costs $60.
Long-acting reversible contraception can be administered or inserted at the same time as you take the first medication – this will cost $230.

Accessibility
The clinic is on the ground floor and is fully wheelchair accessible.
The clinic has a wheelchair accessible toilet.
If you have accessibility needs, please let the clinic know ahead of your appointment.
Free local public parking is available nearby. There is mobility parking right outside the clinic entrance.
The clinic is a short walk from the Te Awamutu isite bus stop on Gorst Street, for the number 24 bus.

Contraception
Free contraception is available to you after you have had an abortion if you are eligible for publicly funded healthcare in New Zealand. The contraception available through this clinic is:
- Contraception prescriptions
- IUDs
- Depo Provera injection (the Jab)
- Implant insertion (the rods)
If you're having an early medical abortion and want to opt for one of our long-acting contraception options, these can be inserted or administered at the same time as you take the first medication.
