Cost for New Zealand citizen/resident
Abortion services are free for any pregnant person eligible for publicly funded healthcare in New Zealand. There may be prescription fees and costs for ultrasound.

Accessibility
The clinic is on the ground floor with five steps up to the front door. Press the intercom when you arrive – you don't need a code.
The clinic has a wheelchair accessible toilet.
If you have accessibility needs, please let the clinic know ahead of your appointment.
Public parking is available outside the clinic.
Bus stops are available on Cameron Road.
Translation services
If English is not your first language and your need a translator, please let us know. We can arrange for translation services.
Female practitioner
There are only female practitioners at this clinic.
Contraception
Free contraception is available to you after you have had an abortion if you are eligible for publicly funded healthcare in New Zealand. The contraception available through this clinic is:
- Contraception prescriptions
- IUDs
- Depo Provera injection (the Jab)
- Implant insertion (the rods)
If you're having an early medical abortion and want to opt for one of our long-acting contraception options, these can be inserted or administered at the same time as you take the first medication.
Counselling
Abortion decision counselling, pre-abortion and post-abortion counselling is required. This is available in person or virtually.
