What will it cost?
Cost for New Zealand citizen/resident
Abortion services are free for any pregnant person eligible for publicly funded healthcare in New Zealand. There may be prescription fees and costs for ultrasound.
Cost for non-New Zealand resident
The cost of an early medical abortion for non-New Zealand residents is $280*. There may also be costs for blood tests and ultrasound.

Accessibility
The clinic is on the ground floor. There is wheelchair access available at the back entrance. A large wheelchair accessible toilet is available.
If you have accessibility needs, please let the clinic know ahead of your appointment.
Public parking and mobility parking is available at the clinic.
It is a 7 minute walk to Avondale train station.
Translation services
If English is not your first language and your need a translator, please let us know. We can arrange for translation services.
Female practitioner
A female practitioner is available on Saturdays.
Contraception
Free contraception is available to you after you have had an abortion if you are eligible for publicly funded healthcare in New Zealand. The contraception available through this clinic is:

Counselling
Abortion decision, pre-abortion and post-abortion counselling is available. You can do it in person or virtually.
